Overview
Chat gives you a natural-language interface to the intelligence ShiftUp has gathered for your accounts. Instead of clicking through tabs, ask a question and get a focused answer drawn from your account plans, strategies, meeting transcripts, and CRM data.During our Preview Release, Chat is focused on answering questions about your account plans and strategies.

Conversations
Starting a new conversation
Click the + button (New conversation) anytime you want to start over with a clean slate. Each thread is independent — past conversations won’t influence the new one.Chat history
ShiftUp saves your conversation history so you can return to previous chats at any time. Access your 5 most recent conversations from the chat history panel to review previous answers or continue where you left off.Multiple conversations
You can have multiple active conversations. Each conversation maintains its own thread, so you can explore different topics without losing context from previous questions. How chat uses your data
Chat draws from the same intelligence sources that power your account plans and strategies:- Account plan data — Business landscape, change drivers, milestones, and account notes
- Strategy content — Hypotheses, pain points, MEDDPICC, business case
- Stakeholder intelligence — Buying committee members, power roles, and influence levels
Tips for effective use
- Be specific — Narrow questions produce more actionable answers. Include stakeholder names, strategy details, or timeframes when relevant.
- Iterate — Use follow-up questions to drill deeper into a topic. The conversation context carries forward within a thread.
- Prepare for meetings — Ask Chat to summarize key talking points, anticipated objections, or stakeholder priorities before a call.
- Validate strategy — Ask about gaps in your deal coverage or areas where confidence scores are low.
